The Mystery Behind CyberSponse's Last Day at RSA

Full post

The RSA conference attracted the biggest crowd of vendors and attendees since its beginning. It was a particularly busy time for companies in the security automation and orchestration space.

Disruption in this market means moving past identical marketing and look-alike offerings to create something more efficient and more logical. At the end of the day, the practitioner community is most interested in seeing things that are actually different.

Why companies leave RSA early

The last day of RSA tends to be slow. Teams have been up till 2 or 3 am for three days, hoarse from talking over loud music. There is a real argument for letting your people get home to their families and back to the work that protects customers, rather than staying through the empty final hours.

What the show is for

The point of RSA is to find customers, to solve problems together, and to meet the rest of the community. Building creative, defensible cyber security capability in a highly competitive space is no easy task. Disruption can leave scars. The work is worth it.
