For IR firms that want to help build the discipline in the open. Limited intake. Published Code of Conduct from year two.
The Partners Forum is the way IR firms participate in IRC. It is deliberately small, deliberately accountable, and deliberately public.
A partner-only community. This is the main reason to join. A closed room where the firms doing IR work compare notes with each other on running the practice: hiring, tooling, case handling, how the discipline is evolving. Not a sales room, a peer room.
Controlled access to events and the wider community. A secondary benefit. Partners get visibility into what IRC already publishes and runs: the Resources library, the Playbook Policy Engine, community calls and breakfasts where partner attendance is appropriate. Access is controlled, not exclusive; it does not extend to private contact with individual practitioner members.
Partners do not get editorial control of the Resources library or the events programme. See what partners can and cannot do for the full detail.
Founding Partner. A small group of IR firms helping launch the relaunched IRC. Named on the home page. Contributes funding, content, and time. Founding Partner status is closing soon.
Partner Firm. Year two and beyond. IR firms accepted into the programme under the published Code of Conduct. Subscription-based.
We do not partner with vendors selling technology to IR teams. The Partners Forum is for the firms doing the work, not the firms selling to the people doing the work.
Editorial control of the Resources library. The Editorial Committee curates content independently of the operating partner and the Partners Forum.
Exclusive access to the practitioner membership. Partners get a partner-only channel and the open partner events; they do not get private access to individual practitioner members for sales purposes.
Branding on practitioner-authored content. Author attribution is to the individual practitioner. Partner firms can sponsor production but the byline is the author's.
From year two, Partner Firms operate under a published Code of Conduct. It covers conflict of interest, incident reporting practices, transparency on engagements, and what partner firms can and cannot say in public. The first draft is in progress with founding partners and will be published before the year two intake opens.
Founding Partner slots are limited and most are in active conversation. If your firm is a credible fit, email partners@incidentresponse.com and we will get back to you within five working days.
Community calls coming up, new resources published, and what we're seeing across the membership.
